Mission Statement

The goals of La Ferme du Fort Senneville are to develop an organic farm which is permanently economically and environmentally viable, to produce delicious vegetables and to establish a close, fun, happy bond with the people who eat the food from the farm.

La Ferme du fort senneville has been run by Alison Hackney since 1996 on land owned by her family for over 100 years. Produce has been certified by Garantie Bio since 2002 which means no pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers.

Whatever creatures she can't live with Alison discourages using several organic methods, among which are crop rotation, pest barriers and weed controls.

Cost of a share

A weekly share for the season costs $515. There will be between 18 and 20 weekly deliveries. At approximately $25 a basket, if you know your prices for organic produce, you realize that this is a good deal. We compared the price of our produce with supermarket items. Overall, you're getting fresh organic local vegetables at ordinary supermarket prices !
